This is just fantastic! Mamma; ie Carole, and I were in the dentist office and I found this site on my droid. I played her song that is on uTube in the dental office and everyone there was enchanted. |

Thank you for the update on Carole! I'm so sorry to hear that she isn't feeling well. That rare album that I have is truly my favorite, and it belonged to my parents - still have it after all this time. I can't find those songs anywhere else. I'm a huge fan, and she will most definitely be in my prayers tonight. Glad to hear that she is close to family. I walk through my home singing her songs all the time, and it just makes me so happy. |

I just realized that Mellie gave all that information out in 2006. I am so behind the times! |

Thank you, Bo! I found a copy on Amazon and added it to my cart. CD Baby has the "Live" album but not "All About Carole" to my knowledge. I don't know who else would sell these albums, but I was amazed to discover (via youtube and then Amazon) that there is an album titled, "Music for a Bachelor's Den 7: Sex Kittens in Hi-Fi: The Blondes" in which she is featured along with Marilyn Monroe and others. Go mamma! :) Vanessa |

Alright, this is just the coolest thing ever! Carole gets to communicate with her fans, and they get to tell her how much they love her music. Hi Bo, tell your Mom that Eric and I will visit when she's feeling better! I promised we'd fly to Reno when we spoke and I haven't forgotten. Please tell her we love her and miss her. |

Carol Simpson is a passionate jazz vocalist. Singing with a style that embodies deep emotion, she draws upon both jazz and blues and infuses her work with personality and enthusiasm. As a multi-linguist, she sings bossa novas and sambas in Portuguese and many jazz standards in French. Her influences range from Gershwin, Cole Porter and Irving Berlin to the bebop 40s and 50s artists, Charlie Parker, Clifford Brown, Dizzy Gilespie, Miles Davis and hardbop artists of the 60s and 70s, Hank Mobley, Lee Morgan, and Wayne Shorter |

Hi, is this the same Carole Simpson that was the singer in Peter Cook's and Nicholas Laurd's Establishment Club, London in the early 1960's who performed along with The Brian Dee Trio? |
