I thought the Doris Day segment was very interesting. I've always found her big band tracks a bit slow, probably because the music was designed to appeal to romantic dancers. The Doris Day/André Previn disc sounds worth getting.
I heard about the death of Hubert Gregg on the show. How sad. I've always enjoyed his programme. He was youthful right to the end. Here's his obituary from The Guardian.
